We always watch CSI & NSCI in my house, it is a nightly show, cause on of those has to be running. I love them dearly & the way the show them ...

Now the questions comes down to it ... would you encourage your child to follow this path? He gets so into the show, & askes questions about it. Then I get the Zodiac book, it is well above his reading level but damn if he doesn't pick it up & start reading it. Let me rephrase that, I told him what it was about, he asked if they solved it & I said he'd have to read it to find out ... thinking he never would read it. Damn, he's reading it.

Don't get me wrong. He's always been really interesting in those shows. He gets really interesting in the ways they catch the individuals. The way they pull prints, search vehicles, get the DNA from all kinds of items & that list goes on. Yea, we have been watching these shows for a while, so he gets some things from other parts of other shows & can tell you things ... it's just hard to explain.
I can leave the room, & then ask him what happen ... he can give me a good idea so that whatever I missed I am caught up on.
So, would you encourage your child to do this? Because I have been, I have told him that if this is something that he would like to consider then I will help him look things up & see what is avaible for him. He's got a ways to go but I want him to really look into this & other options ... not just do something because it's there. He's been so into this for so long, I think it woud do him some good to build on that. To look into this more, & to learn more about the training that is needed.
