although my husband was not there to enjoy it. we still had fun. My kids came really close to missing the fireworks this year BUT they work together to complete their chores.
we listend to the band play everything from Gretchin Wilson, Toby Keith, Pat Bentar, New Pop & Rock (sorry cannot remember their names but know the songs) to then orcharstra (sp??) played straighted into the guns going off to FA rounds & Fireworks. Just how sweets is that??

You can watch a fireworks display. Enjoy it tell you are so bored that there is nothing but "oh what joy" la de da. But when you hear those guns firing & watch those fireworks shooting it makes you think exactly WHY we have this country, gives it a bit bigger kick. Side from that those things have one hell of a kick & bang!!!

It is such a pain to get up in the area to see them & to get out of the area when you watch them. But it is so worth that pain ... complete darkness, music & you know that is coming. And when it does you still jump a bit cause you just were not expecting it right then. Plus the small white light it gives ... Then the fireworks come.
Hell you just have to see it
